Write: Unplugged Part 2
Dear Readers, I’m back again! Now with the other half of my random story. I hope you enjoyed the first half. The second half has a bit more action and revelations than the first. It should be more exciting. But, first is what I learnt from writing this story. It probably isn’t that new to anyone else. Just me being my ignorant self. But I learnt the difference between Concrete and Pavement. Firstly, Pavement... it covers a broad category of surfaced areas. It is the durable s

Write: Unplugged Part 1
Dear Readers, I have spent a few days on a spontaneous story. I called it: Unplugged. First thing I must note is that this is a story about what could happen if we were stripped of all our devices. This I observe through a thoroughly device-dependent Gen Z girl named Aliyah. This is a world that I can imagine with people becoming more reliant on electronics and electricity. Write: A Message in a Bottle
Dear Readers, I would like to take a small moment to write about the purpose of my diary. To lay bare my insecurities. I think I already have mentioned this in previous posts. Read: Metamorphosis and The Trial
Dear Readers, As I’ve been studying various material to become a better writer, I have constantly heard... read and write, then read and write some more. Does this work...? Well, I don’t know. But it makes sense. I think the best way to learn is to read your competition and even classics, to figure out what they do to hook readers. To learn what they do right and what they do wrong. Though I know, as young as I am in my journey, that every writer has their own style. To try

Poem: Chevee!
Dear Readers This piece is one from my childhood. A poem that playfully summarizes what my mother felt like when she was raising me. Apparently, I was running everywhere. My mother couldn't keep up! She is a very tidy person, but after I went into a room, it ended up resembling a bombsite. It's quite a light-hearted piece with a twist at the end. I hope you enjoy my thirteen-year-old self's attempt at a poem! Read on: Chevee!!! Chevee! Slow down! Chevee! Stop! Chevee, let go

My Website Published
Dear Readers, It's lovely to meet you all for the first time. I'm very inexperienced when it comes to blogs and websites. So, if I fall short of your expectations... I apologise. The reason for this second-rate website and blog is that I want to showcase my private works with you. I hope to grow into an excellent writer one day and improve in my craft. So, I will be publishing my short stories, poetry, and other literary works as I progress. All of this is for free, of course
